Starting March 24th, the movie End of the Rope will be traveling around the North Dakota for exclusive Red Carpet Premieres. The film was shot on location in McKenzie County and Watford City and Hurley Enterprises of Fairview, Montana, constructed nearly all of the set's buildings. Producer Daniel Bielinkski co-wrote the film with Director Charlie Griak.

End of the Rope is based on the actual account of a lynch mob that executed a man on suspicion of killing a family in Schafer, North Dakota. In 1931, a family mysteriously disappeared from Schafer. Suspicion landed on Charles Bannon, a sociopathic farm-hand and the entire community rose up to take justice into their own hands.

The narrative is written from the perspective of McKenzie County sheriff's deputy rather than from that of the accused or the witnesses. The sheriff acts as the story's hero. The murderer is defended by a Williston based lawyer from outside the area who has a legal obligation to protect his client.

Canticle Productions is holding one-night events with Red Carpet, Cast, and Crew Q&A, End of Rope Merchandise, and Behind-the-Scenes looks at the making of this North Dakota film. Catch it at Six Shooters Showhall in Watford City on March 24 and 25 at 4:00pm and 7:00pm. Although no filming took place in Williston, a red carpet premiere is scheduled for April 14 at 7 p.m. at the T&J Agnes Grand Theatre.

There are more premiere events planned throughout North Dakota. At the Fargo Theater, March 31 at 7:00pm. Grand Forks, April 2 at  7:00pm at The Chester Fritz Auditorium, Minot, April 15 at 7:00pm at Oak Park Theater, Bismarck April 21 and 22 at The Grand Theater at 7:00pm and 8:00pm and Belfield, April 28 at 7:00pm at the Belfield Theater.
