Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) production of “KING ARTHUR'S QUEST” on Monday July 10 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Watford City High School Theater. MCT is the the nation's largest touring children's theatre offering week-long residencies.

For kids starting grades through 8, there are roles. total of 50 to 60 local kids will be chosen to perform in the play alongside the director and actor from the MCT Tour. Four or more students may be chosen to serve as assistant directors. The production's  technical components will be helped by assistant directors.

Anyone interested in auditioning should show up at 11:30 am and make plans to stay for the entire two hours. Following the audition, some of the cast members will be required to stay for a practice.

Casting is needed for King Arthur, Guinevere, Merlin, the Raven, Taliesin, Lancelot, the Knights, the Squires, the Camelotians, the Lady of the Lake, Mordred, Morgan Le Fey, Uther Pendragon, the Damsels, and the Minis, among other roles.

All kids in grades 1 through 8 are encouraged to audition. There is no need to prepare beforehand. Simply said, students should be prepared to enjoy themselves when they arrive.

MCT Tour Actor/Directors will hold daily rehearsals at the Watford City High School Theater from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Tuesday, July 11 through Friday, July 14. Costumes, scenery, and props are all included in the Missoula Children's Theatre traveling productions.

From July 11 through 14, 10:30 a.m., there will be acting, makeup, and improv  workshops. All children who are involved are welcome to participate for free, however  due to the large number of participants, role cannot always be guaranteed for each  child. The seminars are free to attend for kids of all ages. 

The Watford City High School Theater will host performances of "KING ARTHUR'S QUEST" on Friday, July 14, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, July 15, at 10:00 a.m.
