Watford Market and More July Events with the Rough Rider Center

July is heating up with Watford City Parks and Rec and the Rough Rider Center!

Want to be a vendor for this years Farmers Market? First day is July 20th. The Watford Market is every Thursday at Kent Pelton State Park, 5:30pm - 7:30pm, July 20 - September 28, 2023 (dates subject to change). Registration is accepted all season long, so it's never too late to join. Check out Watford Market for all the details. Market begins at 5:30pm with the ringing of a bell. No sales can take place before the bell rings

The Watford Farmer's Market provides an environment where growers and creators can market their products in a festive and enriching atmosphere for all who attend.

LIVE MUSIC sponsored and organized by the Long X Arts Foundation will be staged under the large shelter.

DEMONSTRATIONS/ACTIVITIES They hope to have one or two demonstrations that are preferably agriculture, history, health, or art related. The smaller shelters of the Nature Park for the demonstrations. If requested, during the musician breaks, the demonstrators will have a chance to speak for up to 5 minutes on the music stage about their demonstration.

READY-TO-EAT FOOD Watford City Lions Club will be grilling burgers and hotdogs at each market. We hope to add more food vendors to the lineup as well!

RAIN OR SHINE, EVENT WILL PROCEED Most days, Watford Market will take place at Kent Pelton Nature Park. In the event of bad weather, Watford Market will be moved indoors to the Rough Rider Center.

More Info: The University of Jamestown Women’s Volleyball Program is hosting a volleyball team camp in Watford City. Teams are responsible for own lodging. One coach attends for free of charge. Additional coaches pay same as players.
