It was an it was absolutely delightful weekend in NW North Dakota.

On Friday, I headed to Menards with a mission: nabbing a Christmas cat lawn inflatable and contributing to their annual holiday toy drive. You can join in too—it's running through the end of the month. Find more details here.

Saturday was a picturesque day for a trip to Fairview, where a craft and vendor show awaited. Among the treasures I snagged were a spider Christmas tree ornament and a crystal sun catcher. The highlight? Spotting local artist Daphne Clark showcasing her remarkable paintings. Her art beautifully echoes her passion for ranching and the great outdoors.

Come evening, the fun continued as I hit the town with pals Tina, Rochelle, and Calvin. We belted out tunes at Slater's Bar during some lively karaoke after catching  live comedy at the Old Armory, headlined by the multi-talented Bobcat Goldthwait. You may recognize him from Scrooged or the Police Academy moves. His performance was a riot—I even had the privilege of snapping a photo with him post-show.

Sunday called for a gathering of some phenomenal ladies at Williston Brewing Company. Getting together with my amazing mama Linda, god-mother Vicki, and her sister Kandee is always a blast. We exchanged cherished stories and memories while enjoying a delicious meal. I recommend the WBC's chicken tortilla soup.

The day wound down with a walk around my neighborhood, soaking up the sunshine.

Thanks for taking a look at my pictures! -Mad Max
