One thing I have noticed is the amount of female owned businesses in our area. I think it's really fabulous! Are you a woman who has thought about starting a business? Or maybe you're a woman who owns a business and you desire to grow your brand?

The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce wants to help you build the confidence to achieve your business goals at an upcoming event they are hosting.

The Women in Leadership (WiL) Expo is a local gathering that celebrates women in leadership while empowering all women, regardless of their stage of life or professional endeavors.

The two day event is October 26 & 27th at the Grand Williston Hotel & Conference Center. Tickets are $125 and are on sale now. Take advantage of early bird pricing until August 31st and save $75. Call the Williston Chamber for more details 701-577-6000.

This year (2023), they are focusing on the significance of personal branding - from how you present yourself to how you speak to being confident in you.

Those in attendance will hear from a variety of speakers. Including keynote speakers, Lauren Messiah, a business coach and personal & celebrity stylist from Los Angeles, CA, and North Dakota Lieutenant Governor Tammy Miller; breakout session speakers; local, women-owned boutiques and vendors; Chamber and other community leaders; and each other.

The speakers will talk about things like creating a strong personal brand, effective communication, and using social media for career advancement.

Women are given the information, contacts, resources, and motivation they need at this powerful expo to succeed in their careers or wherever they are in life and leave a lasting impression.

The Women in Leadership expo will kickoff on Thursday, October 26 at 4:30pm with registration and a social hour with cocktails. Shop local boutiques and vendors. Attendees will also be able to add or update headshots to their professional profiles. Be sure to take advantage of the opportunity for one on one Personal Brand and Image Consulting with Lauren Messiah!

WiL continues on Friday, October 27th with headshot sessions, networking activities, breakout sessions, inspiring speakers and so much more! Breakfast and lunch will be served.

According to Jessica Delvo, Williston Chamber Marketing/Member Relations Manager, the "goal of the expo is to build the confidence of women in this region." There will be something for everyone, and all area women are encouraged to attend.

Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are available for the event. Call the Williston Chamber for more details 701-577-6000.
