Williston Parks & Recreation Invites You to Learn About Healthy Living

The Willliston Parks and Recreation District (WPRD) and WPRD Foundation are hosting the 3rd Annual Community Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, March 9. The event is free and open to the public from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Williston Area Recreation Center (ARC) in the meeting rooms. The ARC is located at 822 18th Street East in Williston. This is a chance to connect with businesses about nutrition, exercise, and mental health care.

According to WPRD's Devon Cox, there will be a variety of health and wellness services and products available from the Williston Community. The organizations, services and products will all fall under the umbrella of wellness, which includes anything from physical, social, emotional and environmental wellness. Our community has a lot to offer to help residents on a personal health and wellness journey.

The Community Health and Wellness Fair will feature more than 20 vendors. Find out about services, products, and educational materials on important issues that can affect our overall wellbeing. Services include free blood pressure and health screenings, diabetic education, counseling and mental health, pediatric health, clean living, skin care, fitness, massage, physical and chiropractic therapies and more. Learn about physical, social, emotional and environmental wellness.
