Nothing fights the chill of winter like a hot bowl of homemade soup. The James Memorial Art Center invites you to join them for their Soup's On! Fundraiser. Enjoy lunch on Tuesday, February 21st from 11:00AM to 2:00PM.  Talented volunteers will be whipping up some amazing soups and delicious desserts for the suggested donation of $12.00.

I'm talking homemade, hearty, stick to your rib's kind of soups. There will be five choices this year. Here are the soups that will be available. Knoepfle, French Onion, Chicken Tortilla, Butternut Squash and Beef Barley. The meal also includes a bottle of water, a dinner roll and a home baked treat of some sort. Volunteers are making cookies and bars all kinds of yummy things.

The Soup is On at the James. Save the date and be advised that they will not be taking orders over the phone this year, so you should just come in. They will have tables set up in Gallery One and Gallery Two so you can sit and enjoy your soup. Or if you want to come in and grab an order for yourself or your office, they'll have everything on hand to make it portable so you can take it back home or to work with you.

This year's fundraiser will help The James Memorial Art Center pay their winter heating bills. Good news is, they will soon have some new storm windows installed to make the place more efficient, so heat bills won't be so high in the future.
