Wade Forsberg is a lifelong resident of Williston, North Dakota. In the fall of 2022, Wade began experiencing pain in his abdomen, constant fatigue and unexpected weight loss. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.

In November of 2022 Wade underwent surgery to remove his right colon. To date, Wade has endured twelve round of chemotherapy and has been unable to return to work as a dispatcher for ASK Transportation due to the side effects of treatment. He began a new chemotherapy regimen in June of 2023.

Wade and his sweetheart of 11 years, Heather Kandle, have three children; Keisha (Nathan) Rettig, Ashley (Dustin) Celander, Hayden Tracey, and five grandchildren; Ryleigh, Kenley, Andrew, Clarence and Piper. Wade is the President of the Badlands Bird Dog Club. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, camping, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Over the years, Wade has attended and contributed to many benefits helping family, friends and community. His family would like to invite you to join the effort to give back to Wade.

Everyone is welcome to attend the 23rd Annual Labor Day Survivor Games at Beaver Bay Campground on Saturday, September 2nd. Come early with your cooler and lawn chairs. Bring cash, your checkbook or Venmo. All proceeds will be donated to Wade and his family to help with ongoing healthcare expenses. There will be fun games, 50/50 Raffle, live and silent auctions and more.

There will be 2 teams consisting of 6 players competing against each other. A referee and judges in the audience will score the games. The winners get bragging rights. In between games there will be live auction items. Silent Auction items will be set up as well.
