Calling All Local Musicians – Here’s a Chance to Play the North Dakota State Fair Grandstand

You know it's really summer when it's North Dakota State Fair Time. The ND State Fair is July 21-29 at the fairgrounds in Minot. The 2023 fair is gonna be big! The Fair has carnival rides from Crabtree Amusements, agricultural expositions, government and commercial exhibitions, and a variety of musical and performance entertainment.

As far as entertainment, Rock, Hip-Hop & Country are all coming your way this summer at the North Dakota State Fair! This year's lineup includes Eric Church, Brad Paisley, Joe Nichols, Jelly Roll, Whiskey Myers, The Five Finger Death Punch featuring special guest Ayron Jones, Ludacris & T-Pain, The Ranch Rodeo and YOU!

The North Dakota State Fair is calling all local artists! Don't miss this chance to perform on the big stage in the Grandstand & win $2,000 at the 2023 Fair! Three artists will be selected from the pool of applicants to perform on the Grandstand as the opening act on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 for Joe Nichols.

The Fair in Minot was first held in Minot in 1922 but was not officially sanctioned by the state government until 1965. The North Dakota State Fair remains prideful in attendance numbers and satisfied customers. As the largest event in the state, it draws an average of 300,000 people. It is an ever-growing event that takes pride in all that it holds from competitive exhibits all the way to entertainers. The fairgrounds are located along Burdick Expressway in east Minot.
