February continues to be a fun month. The girls' games are wrapping up fast, and now we shift gears to district boys' basketball play. District 15 boys basketball starts on February 24th and runs for three days at Mandaree High School. This gets us started on the road to see who will play in the regional tournaments, and ultimately move on to the state championship in March. Seven teams will meet to decide who the District 15 champion will be, and who will advance to the regional tournament.

If you are unable to attend the games, Titus Stenberg will have all the games on Dakota Country Z-96.1. Titus has a keen eye and calls a great game. He points out that each of the teams matches up fairly well with some stout players, and they also all have great coaches. With the fanbase each has, it should be another fun tournament. Good luck to all participants, and welcome to the postseason!
