Get artistic tonight (March 24) with the Long X Arts Foundation at the Rough Rider Center in Watford City. The Hockey Canvas Paint Party is from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Attendees will create an 11X16 Hockey Love piece guided by art teacher, Miss Jess. The Paint Party is in the Rough Rider Center Coffee shop. Cost is $15. There are just a few more open ice skate hours at the Rough Rider Center in Watford City, so make sure to get on the ice while you still can. Ice Skate hours are Fridays, March 24 and 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 27 from 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 26 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. *Times are subject to change.

Artist Reception at the MonDak Heritage Center in Sidney tonight (March 24). View a collection of the life's work of Dave Torrence at a reception from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Mountain time. The exhibit featuring a variety of his work will be on display until May 3rd, 2023.

Williston native, Karin Rathert, will be joining Books on Broadway for her book signing North Dakota tour. Check out her book "Invitation to a Hanging", Saturday March 25th from 1-4 pm.

Mondak Gem Club Open House, Saturday, March 25 at Noon CDT. This is an open house event to go over the equipment available to lend to the gem club members for community use. They will also have a club meeting and Rudolph's Lapidary LLC in Sidney will be doing a demonstration on carving Montana agates.

Luck of the Irish Craft & Vendor Show is Saturday, March 25 at the Williston ARC. Free entry. Shop local and regional crafters and small business vendors from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The Williston Area Woodworkers invite you to their 29th annual spring show now through Sunday, March 26 at the James Memorial Art Center. Be sure to bid on all the silent auction items at the show because all the dollars raised will be donated back to the James Memorial Art Center.

Also at The James this weekend, Game Night and the 3rd Annual "Chairity" Auction. Game Night is Saturday, March 25 from 7:00pm to midnight. The "Chairity" Auction is your chance to own a piece of Williston history. Silent auction style bidding is open now through the Sunday, March 26th at 5:00pm. Ten 1950's-era library chairs from the James turned into unique works by local/regional artists.

The film was shot on location in McKenzie County and Watford City and Hurley Enterprises of Fairview, Montana, constructed nearly all of the set's buildings. Canticle Productions is holding events with Red Carpet, Cast, and Crew Q&A, End of Rope Merchandise, and Behind-the-Scenes looks at the making of this North Dakota film. Catch it at Six Shooters Showhall in Watford City on March 24 and 25 at 4:00pm and 7:00pm. The movie will be at Six Shooters Showhall now through Thursday, March 30th, daily show times at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Williston State College Teton Athletics Booster's Casino Night and Spring Truck Raffle is Saturday, March 25, Winners of The Teton Athletics' Spring Vehicle Raffle will be announced. Find out of tickets are available by calling 701-774-4598. Must be 21yrs old to attend.

The United Sportsmen of Williston are having their annual banquet on Saturday, March 25 at the Agri Sports Complex at the UMV Fairgrounds. There will be live and silent auctions, games and a kids' archery shoot. Your ticket includes a steak dinner and a cash bar will be on hand for those 21 and older. There are a ton of great prizes at this will be a family-friendly event. People are encouraged to bring their trophy mounts (the day of the event after 4:00 pm) and enter them for people's choice for cash prizes.

The 42nd Annual A.P.I. Chili Cook-off is Saturday, March 25 at the Raymond Family Community Center! This fun filled event is an opportunity for members to showcase their chili cooking skills and raise money for our community. Must Be 21 to attend. Admission fee of $10.
